| While initially known for his Classical and Flamenco guitars, Paris has also crafted some of the world's finest "dreadnaught" body steel-string guitars. The dreadnaught body, initially introduced by Martin Guitars, has a large body measuring 15 5/8" across and 4 1/2" deep. This larger size gives rise to a larger, yet richer sound. |

The top of the dreadnaught body steel-string guitar is normally made from selected spruce, although a cedar top can be used as an alternative. There is a detailed binding all around the top and back of the guitar and a decorative trim around the sound hole. | |
| The back and sides of the
dreadnaught body guitars are crafted from selected Brazilian rosewood,
a very rare and sought-after material used in the world's finest guitars.
Brazilian rosewood imparts an incredibly rich sound with very subtle nuances.
The back may be constructed in one of two ways: The typical 2-piece dreadnaught back or the 3-piece D-35 style back. The three piece back, with its bracing, offers the player a rich sound. |

The fingerboards of the dreadnaught body steel-string guitars are all crafted from selected ebony. The fingerboards are inlaid with mother-of-pearl, marking the various fret positions. |
